Well permit me to differ and even take exception. Truth be told I am not really so much interested in the mobile application, I am fine with the desktop version and also would prefer the NFT marketplace.
It is alright if desktop suits you, it would suit a lot of users.
The idea of an app would also have its own target audience, so better to have both available.
Then how about those that actually lost their cryptocurrency funds to fraudsters and where still Able to get it recovered, so it’s actually possible to recover lost funds but the truth is that it’s never going to be easy.
If it is a huge amount involved, then government agencies would make attempt to make it difficult for the hackers to sell the funds and they can be traced by exchanges; they would expose your details if it is a court order.
If your funds have been moved from your wallet to a scammers own, possibility of recovery is very slim.
For now i don’t have cheap electricity, that is why i haven’t fully started mining CRP, and my network is shaky, if i can settle these issues i will jump right on the mining train.
You utilize alternative sources of electricity if it is too expensive. Many crypto miners are going green and cheaper with electricity sources like wind, sun light, dams etc.
Do not rush it of course and only get in when you are ready
I also support this idea and I hope the development team with the inclusion of the admin will treat it with good concern cause it will do something for this forum.
Since this is a community generated idea, it would be cool if the community can collectively contribute to the growth of the competition.
We have members who are skilled in graphics and some other skills which can contribute to the success of such an event.
Guys it’s best to limit your use of multiple exchanges it’s actually a big risk and especially using centralized exchanges that demands your private details.
if one is scared of giving out their information to multiple platforms, they should be equally scared of giving it to one.
Off course, the more the exchanges we use, the higher the risk of being involved in a hack or breach, but my point is that if you consider multiple CEXes to be risky, why use any at all?
Yeah, that is true. But looking at it from another angle, if you don't tell them that a particular coin is doing very well and you make some good amount of cool cash from it and probably they found it later it must have been exhausted, they will look at you as a bad person for withholding such valuable information or blaming you that you didn't convince them enough. Either way, you look bad at it so why not just tell them?
Enlightening someone about something is not the same as convincing them to buy it. If they show considerable interest, provide them with as much information about the asset as possible, enough to allow them make an informed decision and inform them of the consequences of their actions.

Some folks are buried in this cryptocurrency business. Like they don't do any other thing than cryptocurrency. Some even see it as a hobby. Their life revolves around cryptocurrency.

Never sink all your time and attention into any particular endeavor, always use other recreational activities to recharge and prepare yourself mentally for other tasks. Also diversify your time and attention.
Well, I personally find everything wrong with having so many exchanges. I believe it's putting you in a position for you to get scammed. Most especially when the exchange closes all of a sudden.
Using so many exchanges does not mean you store funds in them. You should never use an exchange as a storing wallet to keep your funds.
If the exchanges close or crash, you do not lose anything.
I have a suggestion, the UEFA champions league is back and the knockout phase starts on 14th if February this is a good opportunity for the team to run a contest on this one.

If the team has the logistics and funds planned, a contest for the top European club footballing competition would be a great idea and would attract lots of participants.

Guys I see that we have been making lots of suggestions but none have been implemented, why aren't the admins taking note of all this suggestions.
Changes take time.
We need to cut the team some slack and allow them time to vet suggestions and decide if there is anyone which is worth considering and working on.

I read on am article that Utopia p2p has made some changes on their mining system, the increase the minimum stake on mining node, is this positive or negative.
It is definitely positive, most updates turn out to be. I am not an active miner but follow discussions around mining as anyone who is very interested in the growth of CRP.
Updates such as these shows that the system is running properly and the team is responsive to issues raised and looking to give the best customer experience possible.
I also have not experienced any issues with this Crypton exchange. It's really a nice exchange. They are very reliable and the transaction fees are very low.
It is functioning very well, and the customer service team is very responsive, which is one of the most important factors of a platform.
With more growth, the server would surely be tested more, but I am sure the team would be able to handle and keep improvig on the current system.
I am saying this for the umpteenth time, i love reading and writing, and if there is actually an active channel for writers, i would be more than interested in it, for now this channel isn’t so active. I would have started my own channel for writers, but i do not have the time currently, maybe if i ever have a less busy schedule i might run something like that.
The response here has shown that a writer's board would take off as many members seem to be interested in reading and writing, myself included.

I think many people who use crypto are more concerned about the short term than the long term, and that is very bad. We must understand that the most important thing about every crypto is how good it can be in the long term, if you are worried about the short term you will miss a lot. That is not how it works, and while you can profit within a short time frame, you can also lose out big as it is a volatile market. To avoid pressure plan for the future and you would not be bothered by short term price changes.
In my opinion, using so many exchanges can be very dangerous. You need to focus on one and trust it. Also, ensure you are not using a bad one which is also bad.
You do not trust exchanges, and do need to.
Trust only factors in when you are using a centralized exchange which holds the keys to all funds stored there.
With decentralized exchanges which allows P2P transactions, you do not need to trust, you hold the funds and the platform only mediate the transaction.
I have not heard anyone say they love playing football outside of crypto. Football is a very popular sport that many people around the world loves, both playing it and watching. I think for me football has to be the best thing i do outside of crypto.
Playing football, playing video games, particularly football games and watching football matches are hobbies of mine which are do quite a lot when I want to unwind and relax, although if it is my favorite club playing, I might not be that relaxed.
It might not be talked about much, but many here would also share those hobbies as well.
I have heard of so many people who had their email address compromised and it affected them on the services they registered on with the email address. Having an email address connected to you can also affect your privacy, though email addresses help with account recovery on centralized services, but it isn’t important in a decentralized protocol like Utopia, i don’t wish for it to ever be added.
Email addresses can affect ones privacy if they do not handle it properly, but can be a useful feature for communication and also to allow account recoveries.
It could be added as an optional feature where we can chose to toggle it on and off, so those that feel they cannot handle the feature would turn it off.
Well, that's another thing. I agree with you. Many users don't ever create a new post or topic. You can hardly find a new topic on this forum. Possibly the introduction of locking threads may help.
Locking threads is an amazing idea and should be considered for implementation by the admins. It restricts spam and can be used for very important information which does not need discussions.
Maybe you can create a separate thread to draw the attention of the devs stating the benefits of such a feature to forum discussions.
Glad to read what you wrote about Crypton. People don't have inspired to realize that buying and hold Crypton now will make them an enormous profit in a few years given Utopia's high level of uniqueness.
Besides the potential return on investment that holders stand to gain, they also can benefit from the network today by taking advantage off the multiple utilities it offers; decentralization, anonymity, P2P transactions etc.

DeFi has its pros and cons. If implemented properly it would benefit the utopia network, but if done poorly it could open up can of worms to scammer and spammers which would fill in the network.
Decentralized Finance also works in different ways and utopia already functions in that manner in many areas of the network.
Although you might be adamant that the email isn't connected to you in any way, I think you can't continue using it for the foreseeable future without making a mistake that will actually connect the email to you.
This is what I believe the Utopia p2p team doesn't want to happen.
It is very possible to keep using an email address without making any mistake that leads it back to you. One can explore options of single use addresses, or throwaway addresses.
But it is understandable that everyone might not be able to manage it sufficiently and could make a mistake at one point or the other which leads to a privacy risk.
People disparaging the Utopia peer-to-peer messenger and its ecosystem should be expected, particularly from other privacy projects that want to incorporate some features the Utopia p2p ecosystem had but are unable to do so since Utopia is a close source.
Constructed criticism is always welcome and is in fact needed for the growth of any system, whether it comes from competing systems or from actual customers. It is only a problem, where lies or half truths are used to try and disparage the network.
Utopia is a work in progress and is constantly improving, if you do find any lies being used to spread fud about the network anywhere on the internet, we should call it out and give the accurate information.
