This is one important feature and indeed is the bedrock of a discussion forum such as this one. Being able to have a query or inquiry, come online and ask the community and have an answer giving back to you.

This prompts purposeful communication and would keep attracting new users to the platform.
It also improves rankings on search engines.

It should work out and if it does not you really have nothing to lose;
Accepting bitcoin as a medium of payment does not require much from you, all you need is;
- A wallet address,
- A hardware wallet or airgapped device,
- A means to post your address and/or QR code publicly.

All of these does not cost much and you lose nothing in the event the experiment does not work out

You do have a point. Faucets only became profitable when the crypto market started growing and those $1 rewards where turning into $1,000 and for some projects even $10,000.

Utopia contest is definitely up there among the best ones around now and we get to learn more while handling the tasks, making it doubly rewarding.

Can you share a link to that information? As an NFT enthusiast I am very interested in new innovations to the technology and which player would come in and discover a unique way to use it.

I am sure the Utopia team would be very creative in how they utilize the NFT marketplace.

Hello everyone, OP do you mind making some list of some features about uTalk that's can be liked. I see this forum as a big community and a community where we exchange knowledge, there is no differentiating features.

Maybe I will make a thread with a list of all the features I know of and replace this thread with that one. I am constantly learning and only today discovered the "quick quote" option, which allows you to easily quote multiple users within a single reply. It is much faster than the normal quote which has to redirect to a new page.

the forum is easy to use by the way, that is if we can call that a feature; it also has a good user interface that is easily adaptable.

That is certainly a feature, there are so many online forums which are not easily navigable and adaptable.

In that case, if the demand is high enough you should consider creating a payment option for it.
You should also advise them to not store their entire funds in crypto and only use amounts they can afford to lose. This way they have enough to get by daily and also to take care of any emergency or untoward situation that occurs.

Detroit;3253 wrote:

I'm also no longer comfortable sharing my wallet address with strangers. And also sometimes I may not have enough on my debit card to sort the bills.

You can simply create a separate wallet address which is not in anyway linked to you for the purpose of receiving payments.

I am very optimistic about CRP, and i know it performed very well, and with how strong the utopia team is, CRP is surely going to continue growing this year. But i don’t think CRP is going to gain global status in the next 6 months; 6 months is too short to gain global status, we should be looking at ~2-3 years for something like that to happen. Things do not happy so fast in the crypto industry, but it eventually happens.

You are right, true organic growth takes time especially since the creators would want the public to see the project for the poduct they are offering and not simply shill it to them using paid influencers. The latter can quickly shoot a project to the public space, but it would quickly fizzle out.

Slow, organic growth on the other hand would keep a project at the top for a long time.

Yeah if they extend it to club competitions then it would become more frequent, but that frequency might be a problem because i do not know if the utopia team would want to hold the contest frequently, they might want to select tournaments that comes biennially or maybe even longer. Without any official statement from an utopia admin, we can only speculate.

That is another perspective to look at it from. Having a tournament that comes up infrequently gives one something to look forward to and anticipate while maintaining interest of the participants. There can also be the issue of constantly funding such tournaments regularly.

You are right that we can only speculate for now and wait for the decision from the Utopia team.

#2159 Re: Developer Thread » add a option in utalk for closed thread » 2023-01-15 20:30:09

Locking threads is an awesome idea and anyone should be allowed to be able to lock threads they create to avoid spam and would reduce the work on moderators as well.

I have seen this replicated in various forums I have been on and it worked out effectively, except for those who would create scam thread and lock it so no one can call out their scam.

It is a coin that should not be missed and more importantly people should try and understand how it works and be able to fully benefit from all the perks and utilities.

If you do your research you would see the benefit of CRP and use it adequately.

I would still say if you have a VPN then you can combine it with the Utopia p2p anonymous nature. Utopia p2p is safe and anonymous but VPN can be able to change your IP location.

VPN is not the best idea as you cannot be sure if the VPN providers keep logs of your data and what they do with that information.

Using a privacy browser like TOR is a much better option than relying on an unverified VPN provider.

It is a gem in today's market.

Sadly, majority of the coins and projects being created today are built majorly as an opportunity for the devs to make money and not to actually create utility which would benefit the community. Crypton is an outlier and one which is built to create a much better way of transacting while staying private and anonymous.

That is the point, and i don’t think he used the word sell, he isn’t technically selling it, maybe he is busy with something else and doesn’t want the channel to collapse, so he wants to make someone else the admin who will take care of the channel, is he was selling it, then it would be unacceptable. But passing admin rights might not be the best option, pausing the channel until you can handle it might be the better option.

If that is the idea, then it is not so bad. It is worthwhile to want to keep a channel active, especially when it is one that the community enjoys discussing on. Having that passed on to someone else who will keep it active is a good idea.

If the goal is to sell for monetary benefits then its a bad idea.

Personally I wished I had known about cryptocurrency way back in 2009 I think probably if I had made good investments by now I would probably have retired.

Everyone wishes they had known about cryptocurrency earlier and regret not joining bitcoin early enough, so much so that they miss out on projects which have lots of potential and which are still early in its growth, and when they do find such projects they end up selling as soon as there is a market dip.

Rather than regretting, we can look forward and look towards future potential gems.

#2167 Re: General Discussion » Crypton as a medium of payment in UK » 2023-01-15 19:12:39

To include a new medium of payment there has to be some sort of demand for it from the customers. Is there a demand among the hospital customers for a crypto related medium of payment and how popular is that demand? After answering this question, then you can decide whether or not to go ahead with it.

The likely challenges you will face is in demand and whether or not to hold in the crypto or convert to fiat.
You also has to consider the legal standings of crypto in the country.

Besides the potential Return on investment there are so many other utilities one can benefit from Crypton and the Utopia platform. It is good to hodl, but that does not contribute to the transactions and utility of the network, so holders and spenders are appreciated on the network.

I would surely be holding unto my CRP coins.

#2171 Re: General Discussion » What do you enjoy doing outside of crypto? » 2023-01-14 18:47:27

I enjoy sports, video games and reading. My favorite among them would be sports
These are what I spend most of my free time doing when I am not discussing about cryptocurrencies or building my portfolio.

Everyone interested in crypto should have a life outside this and have a distraction to take their mind away from charts and analysis every once in a while.

It depends on how you look at it. The way I see it, all humans have the capacity to do great things with their mind and build amazing stuffs. Having a personal assistant that takes lots of the load of daily living allows us more time to harmonize our mind.

This of course does not mean everyone must be a creator or a tech engineer, and unskilled laborers would mostly be out of jobs, but after while I expect the world will adjust.

I expect the mods understand the need for Captcha on the forum and how it would help prevent bots from spamming the whole place. There can also be a captcha bypass after registration so one does not have to deal with it everytime they logged in.

Suggestions are welcome in my opinion. The team would decide what to consider and what to ignore.
