I don't think the account structure used for social media promotion or advertisement is the major reason some projects lost credibility. The main reason will be the project's fundamentals, utility, use case, potential, and the problem it solves once people see the project that provides good service in this area they join it.
Well Social Media is a very powerful tool that if used rightly can help any project to improve and if they are used wrongly can very much tarnish the image of any project so I advice that projects pay attention to it.
Yes, there's no doubt about the power of social media being a powerful tool to get across different sent people in different geographical locations but what I am saying is that the project fundamentals, utility, use case, and potential play the most vital roles.
Nowadays, LockBit ransomware is the most dynamic and successful cybercrime structure in the world. LockBit is attributed to a Russian threat actor and emerged from the shadow of the Conti ransomware group, which disbanded in early 2022.
LockBit ransomware was first detected in September 2019 and was previously known as ABCD ransomware due to the ".abcd virus" extension which was first observed. LockBit operates on a ransomware-as-a-service (RaaS) model. In a nutshell, this means that affiliates make a deposit to use the tool and then split the ransom payment with the LockBit group. It has been reported that some affiliates receive up to 75% share. The operators of LockBit have posted advertisements for their affiliate program on Russian-language crime forums stating that they will not operate in Russia or the CIS countries, nor work with English-speaking developers unless a Russian-speaking "voucher" vouches for them.
Initial attack vectors of LockBit include social engineering, such as phishing, spear phishing, and business email compromise (BEC), exploiting public-facing applications, hiring initial access brokers" (IABs), and using stolen credentials to access valid accounts, such as remote desktop protocol (RDP), as well as brute-force cracking attacks.
During last year's Global Threat Forecast webinar, hosted by SecurityHQ, we identified LockBit as a significant threat and highlighted them as a Threat Actor to pay close attention to during 2022.
LockBit Targets#
LockBit has typically focused attacks on government entities and enterprises in a variety of sectors, such as healthcare, financial services, and industrial goods and services. The ransomware has been observed targeting countries globally, including the US, China, India, Indonesia, Ukraine, France, the UK, and Germany.
Another interesting feature of LockBit is that it is programmed in a way that it cannot be used in attacks against Russia or CIS countries (Commonwealth of Independent States). This is likely a precautionary measure taken by the group to avoid any potential backlash from the Russian government.
Speaking of AI artificial intelligence I learnt that there is a channel that is strictly dedicated for the sharing of artificial intelligence generated pictures, how does this work.
If you're talking about the channel that's created on the UtopiaP2P application client for Ai generated images, yes there is one and it is just an event where the user of the application who is an enthusiast of colorful and unique art shares their Ai generated image.

again Russian hackers, it even becomes funny when I see such news
First, thanks for your contribution. English is the only language allowed in this section of the forum.
Second, Russia is not the only place where there are hackers. We have a white and black hacker. Meanwhile, the black hacker sees the habit of stealing as a hobby or game because they do it out of their curiosity and test of knowledge.
Let’s be very practical I have checked the price of CRP Crypton and it’s been $0.6 in so many exchanges and not just Crypton exchange, but I also this the price of Bitcoin too on Crypton exchange would be very similar to that of other exchanges too.
I like the fact that you point out the words let's be very practical. The price of every cryptocurrency is not always the same on every cryptocurrency exchange because the level of trader decision is not always the same but they always share some first digit in price. An example, today CRP/USDT is $0.61 while CRP/UUSD is $0.62 and the price of CRP in the LBank exchange maybe $0.609
Great to see people warming up to the idea of accepting virtual currencies when they are given sufficient information to understand how it works and not just trust what the governments and banks tell them.
It shows that global adoption within the foreseeable future is possible, we just need more accurate information to be easily available.
Let me ask you a question if you see an option to be at the edge of others in your business that will massively increase sales won't you make use of it? This is the reason why some business owner are using cryptocurrency as the payment method
thrive;5330 wrote:CrytoCynthia;5245 wrote:Hey guys I have been having some few problems with the exchange and that’s what actually determines the price of CRP on Crypton exchange?
If I understand you correctly. The problem you have with the Crypton Exchange is what determines the price of CRP coin if that is what you mean. The price of every cryptocurrency in the market is determined by the level of demand and supply.
But come to think of its CRP Crypton has been on $0.6 for a very long time now. I understand that CRP Crypton is a solid coin and not easily affected by the situation of the market but I would love to see the price go up some day.
You're not the only one that's considered about the price of the Crypton coin and its stability at the $0.6 price was a prize to pay for it being an organic price-based coin. It will go up when the time is right.

Yes I have also heard about the accusations on Barcelona although I am not saying they are guilty I believe we should let the due process take it course and hopefully see what the outcome would be.
In every sports tournament, there is always an issue of a club trying to bride the referrer but we're in 21 century where everything is about technology and it's easy to notice some foul play. It the ref is guilty he will prosecute by the Fifa.

Yes, a lot of people pay much attention to the poker games on the UtopiaP2P in-built application client but the game is only profitable to the users that are already good in the game.
It is a normal thing at every event. The event is only profitable to users that are lucky and also very good in the event activity but the major problem in the poker game is finding an opponent on the table.
A lot of people attention to poker games because some event/contest was hosted for it on a forum called Bitcointalk and like the other user said, getting a player at the table due to the time difference barrier is a major drawback.
CrytoCynthia;5369 wrote:Cromanes;1211 wrote:China recently released legislation to permanently ban cryptocurrencies. Can Utopia somehow exist in a totalitarian system? What do you think of its promotion in Kong Kong?
Well it depends on the level of ban, I have seen someone from countries that doesn’t fancy cryptocurrency but they actually do have Utopia p2p existing there, so I think that the ban in China can’t stop anything.
I believe the Chinese government's ban or false news about cryptocurrency shouldn't bother every cryptocurrency investor or enthusiast because they never like or support crypto in the first place and everything they wanted is profit from it.
You're absolutely correct. They only want to make use of the potential of cryptocurrency while they hate it and I could remember how they raised funds with Bitcoin for their construction bank.
Is mining profitable?
If you're talking about Crypton coin mining. Only the current miners of the coin can tell if it is profitable or not but there's nothing bad in mining CRP judging by it potential and what a single CRP coin will turn into in the future.
Cat;5327 wrote:Vicob;1364 wrote:I want to create a channel for writers on the topic of modern literature. how do i find subscribers? will it be of interest to people?
Modern literature, like modern art, is too specific. Is there a channel on classical literature here?
This forum does have not got some needed features and what we can see is a limited channel but I believe it is because the developer team is most focused on the development of the Utopia app client, mobile app, and the Crypton Exchange. In the future the channel you stated may be added.
The developer team makes the decision because those are the most important aspect of this project if the application client (both desktop and mobile) are good and the exchange it will be easy to have more user on the UtopiaP2P project.
thrive;5414 wrote:Cat;5341 wrote:it's easy, can you send me a link?
Yes, it is easy as you said but you don't need to ask the user for the link since you already it's easy to get the price of a CRP coin. I will recommend you guys to check for the price of the Crypton coin on CoinMarketCap.
Yes this is a great option if you ask me, CRP Crypton price and market record can be found on Coinmarketcap. Also if they are interested then they can check out any of this exchanges Lbank exchange, Coin tiger exchange, Crypton Exchange.
Yes, exchange, where the Crypton coin is listed, is another best option to check its current market price of Crypton coin but I will recommend the use of Crypton Exchange since it always provides the best market price.

What do you think is the best cryptocurrency to invest in?
The best and the first cryptocurrency to invest in is your knowledge. Take some time, to know the fundamental aspect of making a secure and successful investment in crypto. Go for coins like CRP, BTC, and ETH. Go in for the long term and know how to secure your bag from theft.
Threat actors have been increasingly observed using AI-generated YouTube Videos to spread a variety of stealer malware such as Raccoon, RedLine, and Vidar.
"The videos lure users by pretending to be tutorials on how to download cracked versions of software such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Autodesk 3ds Max, AutoCAD, and other products that are licensed products available only to paid users," CloudSEK researcher Pavan Karthick M said.
Just as the ransomware landscape comprises core developers and affiliates who are in charge of identifying potential targets and actually carrying out the attacks, the information stealer ecosystem also consists of threat actors known as traffers who are recruited to spread the malware using different methods.
One of the popular malware distribution channels is YouTube, with CloudSEK witnessing a 200-300% month-over-month increase in videos containing links to stealer malware in the description section.
These links are often obfuscated using URL shorteners like Bitly and Cuttly, or alternatively hosted on MediaFire, Google Drive, Discord, GitHub, and Telegram's Telegraph.
In several instances, threat actors leverage data leaks and social engineering to hijack legitimate YouTube accounts and push malware, often targeting popular accounts to reach a large audience in a short span of time.
"Uploading to such accounts lends video legitimacy as well," Karthick explained. "However, such Youtubers will report their account taker to YouTube and gain access back to their accounts within a few hours. But in a few hours, hundreds of users could have fallen prey."
More ominously, anywhere between five to 10 crack download videos are uploaded to the video platform every hour, with the threat actors employing search engine optimization (SEO) poisoning techniques to make the videos appear at the top of the list.
Threat actors have also been observed to add fake comments to the uploaded videos to further mislead and entice users into downloading the cracked software.
The development comes amid a surge in new information stealer variants like SYS01stealer, S1deload, Stealc, Titan, ImBetter, WhiteSnake, and Lumma that are offered for sale and come with capabilities to plunder sensitive data under the guise of popular apps and services.
The findings also follow the discovery of a ready-to-use toolkit called R3NIN Sniffer that can enable threat actors to siphon payment card data from compromised e-commerce websites.
To mitigate risks posed by stealer malware, users are recommended to enable multi-factor authentication, refrain from clicking on unknown links, and avoid downloading or using pirated software.
CrytoCynthia;5288 wrote:With the upgrade in the Utopia p2p mining system and some other utilities that would be added soon I believe Utopia p2p and it’s native coin are on the right track to success.
It will be incredible if we see the Crypton on the right track to success cause it appears for the coin to surpass the current barrier price range which it has been experiencing since last year and it will be nice to see some price uptrend that will cheer the investors.
If you follow the CRP coin price lately when Bitcoin, Ethereum, and all the top 100 cryptocurrencies were hit by the bear trend you'll see that the CRP coin was strong through the season and if you look at its current price you'll see that it has beat the $0.62. If the CRP coin makes it to $0.65 the cheer-up you said will happen.
thrive;5261 wrote:CrytoCynthia;5251 wrote:Yes mate CRP Crypton can break the $0.6 barrier it’s facing right now and it has even broken that previously. The all time high of CRP. Crypton I am familiar with was $1.7
The time the Crypton coin makes the $1.7 price was an exciting moment for every holder but waiting for the Crypton price to surpass the barrier price is just like a pain and I am sure if it surpasses the barrier I believe it can do more uptrend than the previous market
Well it’s not yet over mate CRP Crypton can still achieve such heights again, currently the cryptocurrency market is slowly picking up pace so with time it may break it’s all time high.
Yes, you're right about CRP coin achieving the needed height for the new ATH price and the new Crypton mining upgrade done by the dev team seems to provide some positive activities in the CRP coin price but some miners seem to be complaining about mining profit.
I know many of us wants to hear the news that the mobile application has been activated but I would like to know what positivity would you take home if the mobile application is activated.
There's a lot of vast positivity that the mobile application will generate for the UtopiaP2P ecosystem because we are in 21 century where most people like to access their favorite applications everywhere they feel especially when they are on the bus or want to have some fun on the go.
I also believe that the news about the trading of CRP on LaToken exchange has circulated on the UtopiaP2P ecosystem and from what I see alot of users seems to prefer the use of Crypton Exchange
This happened because of the message posted on the Utopia application client where long-term enthusiasts of this project are advising the new user to make use of the Crypton Exchange and once they try out the exchange and see that it's more credible than others they make it their permanent exchange.
Poker is certainly good, but do you think blackjack will be added?
Footing what I know about the UtopiaP2P ecosystem dev team, they always welcome new ideas and development that will help the ecosystem group. From the record, blackjack is also one of the games that gamblers love but it will be nice if there were multiple games so that people can switch from one game to another
Cat;5314 wrote:what do you think , where is it better to invest ?
It depends on what you actually want but the best way to make a profitable investment in cryptocurrency is long-term. You just need to be sure the crypto is a good potential coin and always good for the bearish market just like we see Crypton coin performance in the latest bearish trend.
After the creation of Bitcoin, and Ethereum. The Crypton coin is the only cryptocurrency I know that was created on unique fundamentals concepts instead of imitating previous project concepts. Investing in the coin now is a good thing.
Since November 2022, an updated version of the botnet malware Prometei has infected over 10,000 systems worldwide. The infections are both geographically indiscriminate and opportunistic, with a majority of the victims reported in Brazil, Indonesia, and Turkey.
Prometei, first observed in 2016, is a modular botnet that features a large repertoire of components and several proliferation methods, some of which also include the exploitation of ProxyLogon Microsoft Exchange Server flaws.
It's also notable for avoiding striking Russia, suggesting that the threat actors behind the operation are likely based in the country.
The cross-platform botnet's motivations are financial, primarily leveraging its pool of infected hosts to mine cryptocurrency and harvest credentials.
The latest variant of Prometei (called v3) improves upon its existing features to challenge forensic analysis and further burrow its access on victim machines, Cisco Talos said in a report shared with The Hacker News.
Prometei Botnet
The attack sequence proceeds thus: Upon gaining a successful foothold, a PowerShell command is executed to download the botnet malware from a remote server. Prometei's main module is then used to retrieve the actual crypto-mining payload and other auxiliary components on the system.
Some of these support modules function as spreader programs designed to propagate the malware through Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), Secure Shell (SSH), and Server Message Block (SMB).
Prometei v3 is also noteworthy for using a domain generation algorithm (DGA) to build out its command-and-control (C2) infrastructure. It further packs in a self-update mechanism and an expanded set of commands to harvest sensitive data and commandeer the host.
Last but not least, the malware deploys an Apache web server that's bundled with a PHP-based web shell, which is capable of executing Base64-encoded commands and carrying out file uploads.
"This recent addition of new capabilities aligns with threat researchers' previous assertions that the Prometei operators are continuously updating the botnet and adding functionality," Talos said.

What are you guys talking about? If it’s about connecting your uTalk to your email I think that goes against everything that Utopia p2p stands for and it would expose many to invasion.
The idea of people connecting an email to their uTalk or UtopiaP2P application client can happen since the ecosystem allow the mirror of website on their ecosystem.
I wonder why you said the ability to connect email with the UtopiaP2P account is possible when it's against the privacy provision in the manifesto of the UtopiaP2P ecosystem. I will be happy if you explain how that will works.
Hey guys I have been having some few problems with the exchange and that’s what actually determines the price of CRP on Crypton exchange?
If I understand you correctly. The problem you have with the Crypton Exchange is what determines the price of CRP coin if that is what you mean. The price of every cryptocurrency in the market is determined by the level of demand and supply.
