I was just checking and I couldn't find any place where you can see someone last seen like when the person was last online, if there is please let me know but if there is none I think it should be added, you can help keep track on members of the forum and know if they have been away for a long while.

I also don't see it too, but what's available is you can know when someone is online and also when they are offline, I think it would Also make sense if we can see when the person left online and how long they have been away.

I think this would come together with the addition of a pm option, I don’t see the point of you wanting to know when I am online when we can even have a private dm conversation here.

But guys do you know all this can also be settled of you are active on the Utopia's application channels, there is an Option for messaging someone and you have uMessage on the application. I don't know if that's what the admins are putting into consideration.

Well I am also active on the Utopia's application channels. Yes there are links on almost every on the Utopia's ecosystem to it's application but for this forum to grow it also needs a bit of independence from the application.

Utopia application is like the home of the Utopia’s ecosystem, but this right here is uTalk, a forum of Utopia p2p, I also think it should have its own uniqueness. The fact that you don’t need to have an account on the application to create a uTalk account speaks volumes about the plans of the team.

I think ‘online’ and ‘offline’ is okay, it does not mean that if ‘last seen’ is added it would be bad, but i don’t know if it is all that necessary, though it can help one to know how long another user has been away and to know if they are still present or available in the forum, but other than that i don’t see it as being extremely relevant right now. Though any addition to make the forum better will be welcomed.

You can make a thread containing your p2p name so people can reach you from there.
Also, don't forget to be careful because of scammers.

Well this is a good move but I don’t think I would be part of it I don’t like the fact that we should make a thread about our Utopia p2p application name.

Practically all social media platform I am on all have the option of showing when someone was last seen and I think there are lots of benefits having it and as always for to that doesn't like it they can have the option of turning it off .
Having the option of turning it off is very important as many users would not want their last seen time or current online status to be public.
If communicating to users directly without those features is uncomfortable, they can redirect the pms to some other platform, like telegram.

I just noticed that an online and offline icon has been included besides users profile and it goes to show again how responsive the uTalk team are at making changes and adjustments when they consider it a good suggestion.
I could not find the feature to toggle it on and off, but it is a work in progress and I could have also missed it as well.

Yes mate and still nothing has been done about it, I don't know is the team is seeing some of our request that is being made here I believe they can always try to help us and implement some of this request.

This attribute may be added to some cryptocurrency forum but this is a forum that belongs to a privacy focus project and if this attribute is added it may somehow break the rule of privacy. Besides, I don't see any reason why we need it on this forum.

This is true. But that is the reason there should be an option to either toggle the feature off or on which puts the power into the hands of the users to decide how they wish to navigate the forum.
The final decision is up to the devs.

I don't notice the feature until now since I just join this forum days ago. Yes, it does show the last time users post their message but from my own understanding, it is still good that way.

Whether it was added already or not, I think every forum has had the feature to see when someone was last online since it was first introduced. As a result, I don't believe it to be a new feature.

Yeah, it's not a new feature but you will agree with me that it's also am important feature to work with on this forum. Many things are yet to be added though.

We are few now guys and offline and online are probably a good option for us now. If you are in need of someone presence on the forum you should probably wait for them to be online.

Can it be a part of Utopia Privacy feature, but I think active members can also be followed up from their posts. The last seen feature will make it easier for the forum and members to follow up an inactive member as well

To the regards of that its quite indicative to see some users have a long time visit to the forum. Lets ensure to keep the forum accommodative.

Well I just checked again and it's still not possible to see when someone is online I think the team should really look into this because I would like to know the time someone I am in discussion with left online.
