60 people are arrested as a result of an international art trafficking

A major international crackdown on art trafficking in 14 European countries has resulted in the arrest of 60 suspects and the recovery of 11,049 stolen artifacts.
With the aid of Europol and INTERPOL, Spain's Guardia Civil oversaw Pandora VII, an operation that was known as such.

The operational phase of this year's annual Pandora operation took place between September 13 and September 24, 2022, and thousands of checks were conducted there and at other airports, ports of entry, and border crossing points, as well as in auction houses, museums, and private residences.

Pandora VII was attended by the following nations: Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

By facilitating information exchange and offering operational and analytical support, Europol was crucial to the success of the entire operation.

Through its I-24/7 secure communication system, INTERPOL linked nations in the Balkans and the European Union that were involved in the exchange of information. The organization also provided support for the entire operation by assigning a dedicated expert to double-check searches against INTERPOL's Stolen Works of Art Database in order to locate and identify items that had been stolen and items that were still missing. The mobile app ID-Art from INTERPOL was also used by local officers.

A yearly law enforcement operation, Operation Pandora was introduced in 2016. It is done as part of EMPACT, the European Multidisciplinary Platform Against Criminal Threats.

Artifacts are well value piece of art which more acknowledge in the most country or art such as Germany, Russians,Egyt and other countries,and artifacts are add to restore once its stolen. Same goes to Tagore's Noble prize which is no where to be found up till date.
