Well I don't think it's a proven fact that Facebook supports scam it's just people's feelings and thought about Facebook.

I thought this has been discussed before. And speaking about scam, all social media might be compromised by scammers with false intention which utopia might be also involved. So let's speak less on what Utopia ecosystem doesn't stands for.

The fact that it doesn't support fraudulent acts does not rule out the original fact that it can acquire as a medium for scams or any fraudulent act because of the anonymity and privacy it offers.
You have a point since the UtopiaP2P ecosystem provide a privacy service that can't be find anywhere in the world and it's normal for people who are into fraudulent to abuse it benefits
Ofcus, there are even various website use only bases not mention here that start as a medium for safety and now sue for compromised allegations, such as binance and Facebook.

Different strokes for different folks. Despite that I hate people making accusations without proper investigation and knowledge about how decentralization works. I hope the original poster of this topic can answer the question asked him about the Facebook scam.

According to my own understanding. Social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram are not in support of scams that happen on their platform. The same thing goes for UtopiaP2P.

Yes, and it will be nice if people understand that scammers often use these platforms to reach a broad audience and target their victims.

Though social media platforms have policies, algorithms, and fraud detection systems in place to stop or prevent fraud, some fraudulent activities may slip through the cracks. If this can happen on centralized social media why can't it happen on a decentralized platform?

I believe centralized social media platforms work hard to detect, identify, and remove fraudulent content and accounts from their platforms.

Yes, but they also rely on user reports, content moderation teams, and technological solutions such as machine learning algorithms to identify and remove fraudulent content.

However, social media platforms cannot monitor each content or activity on their platform in real time, and some fraudulent activities may go unnoticed.

Additionally, some scammers may use sophisticated techniques to evade detection and continue their activities. Just like some gamblers cheat the casino.

In case of any suspicious activity, users should report it to the platform immediately and maintain a level of skepticism toward any unsolicited messages, ads, or offers.

The report I think is only applicable to centralized social media platforms and only the channel moderator on Utopia can take action against users that indulge in scam acts.

I believe that UtopiaP2P channel moderators are aware of the risks of scams and frauds occurring on their channels and are also ready to take proactive measures to prevent such activities.

You have a point and I hope people will make good use of your advice because it is very important. Besides, it reminds me of a topic I once make a post on this forum which says "How to Think Like a Hacker and Avoid Threats"

Where is the police when there is no theft? We should always be vigilant and cautious of our safety cause ourselves is always the victims when we do it wrong.
