Some countries get to perform woefully because their clubs are sold out because of publicity for their elites young players whereas the best players are ommitted.

Well I am surprised that Ivory Coast and Ghana has left the tournament, the former is the host of the tournament so it's very shameful that they are leaving at this easily stage

Yes that's true so much has been said and more would still be said about the sad exit of those super powers.

Well I hope African football can do better than what I am seeing today, because I actually expected more from all team and some super Stars hasn't yet shown.

Yeah I can actually relate with how Namibia get away with Tunisia but unlucky for them they were defeated by Angola which makes it possible for Angola to be in the quarter final.

I guess now that they are facing the giant of Africa which is Nigeria I think they need to put more effort in order to defeat the Nigerian club.

You can't take it that slightly cause the Nigerians are moving faster towards attending the cup cuz I can see even though it cost them a narrow escape they are ready to produce results.

Who else watch the blunder Paris Saint Germain did today. They lead by two goals only to forfeit those goals.

Well I think Cristiano Ronaldo is wrong, he called the French league an easy league but seeing what's happening in the league I would say he has no idea about what he was saying
Offline
Well you are right the French league is actually a very tough league and activities has proven that

Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez has finally agreed to quit Barcelona at the end of the season, I always thought it should have come earlier Rather than now that Barcelona is down and out.

I don't know why any tournament should have a position for best losers I believe it's very unnecessary.

I think so as well cause it doesn't encourage the team. The phase at which people tends to look such position is quite in a shameful position to considered such remark.

Arsenal defeating Liverpool is really amazing as they weren’t expected to do so. I am a super fan of arsenal right now because of what they did

Man City moved one point behind leaders Liverpool at the top of the Premier League as Phil Foden inspired the champions to a hard-fought 1-0 win over Bournemouth.

With Liverpool in Carabao Cup final action this weekend, it was an ideal opportunity for Pep Guardiola's side to close the gap and they took full advantage of their game in hand thanks to Foden's 24th-minute opener.

The England international impressed throughout and scored his 16th goal of the season - and netted for the fourth consecutive Premier League game against Bournemouth - by tapping in after Erling Haaland, who had fired wide earlier in the game, saw his initial effort parried by Neto.

Bournemouth had their moments against the champions. Andoni Iraola's team should have equalised early in the second half, but Marcus Tavernier lacked composure on two occasions in quick succession while Dominic Solanke and new signing Enas Unal went agonisingly close with headers.

This Chelsea vs Leed United what I observed there is that Pochettino stomps quickly down the tunnel. Work for him to do at half-time - he's shown some frustration with his team's defending and the way they've given up possession.

Pochettino's ploy to play Mudryk through the middle has paid off in that first half. The Ukraine international has been far more involved than we've become accustomed to seeing him. Often out on the left wing he seems like he's on the fringes.

You know that from that No10 position he was able to latch onto a miscued header out and burst into the box to test Meslier from a tight angle. He also dropped into a pocket of space to ping a lovely crossfield pass searching for Madueke which forced a corner. And then there was the goal - Mudryk taking up a clever position in the box to convert Sterling's cutback.

We've only seen flashes from Mudryk during his Chelsea career - can he put together a full 90 minutes here and make a case for playing this position going forwards?.
