It's best we all make do with the desktop version of the application in anticipation for the mobile version of the application, apart from flexibility I don't think there is any other different between the two.

There be any difference between the two application clients (mobile and desktop) in terms of privacy and security but in the feature area, I believe the mobile application will never have all the features that are accessible on the desktop.

That's true The desktop and mobile application can't be compared in terms of features and I believe that why the team brought out the desktop version out first for everyone to appreciate it.

Features were not the main reason why the development team introduced the desktop application first. If you look at every cryptocurrency project they always release their desktop application first or else there will be drawbacks for miners.

You may think the mobile app is terrible, but it was only ever meant to be used as a supplement to the desktop application, not as the main application.

Well there isn’t just one reason for the mobile application, well many people were complaining that the desktop version of the application isn’t flexible.

Another reason some people think the mobile application would be preferable is the fact that that data consumption level of desktop version is high than the mobile application.

Re: mobile app. When?

The mobile doesn't have much to change, the desktop version of the Utopia application is more sophisticated and even has a better presentation than the mobile application so what is the buzz about.

Well for those who are always on the go probably everytime may have special needs to have the mobile application for flexibility.

Re: mobile app. When?

If you come to think of it shouldn't a laptop be considered as a Mobile application, because it actually can be Mobile and carried on the go.

Hmm. A laptop computer application cant is considered a mobile application. Yes, the laptop can move around but it is never as flexible as mobile applications.

Yes, making use of the Utopia p2p application client and never missing any update on the Utopia p2p ecosystem is the reason why the mobile application client was introduced.

Hey guys how about there being a new addition into the Utopia p2p ecosystem something like the proposed Nft market place or even the smart token or the launchpad.

If there is any addition people on the go wants would the the Utopia p2p mobile application, this may just reduce the stress and also make the Utopia p2p application handy.

Well permit me to differ and even take exception. Truth be told I am not really so much interested in the mobile application, I am fine with the desktop version and also would prefer the NFT marketplace.

It is alright if desktop suits you, it would suit a lot of users.

The idea of an app would also have its own target audience, so better to have both available.

According to what I read, the development team of Utopia p2p  have plan for NFT marketplace and there's already a channel for it on the Utopia application client but things don't work as planned. These are something we will see in the future.

Well it would be nice if we get the NFT market place option, it obvious that the users here want it. About the launchpad and smart token that can be secondary.

I understand that the creation of the NFT marketplace will expand the Utopia ecosystem but let me first ask you this question. How many genuine enthusiasts do we have on the Utopia app client? How many users do we have on this forum?
If calculate it all together we don't have much the marketing aspect is what it's important now.

What I read from one of the UtopiaP2P dev team member Dr. Hack days ago in the chat lobby section is that the project dev team are working on the advanced development area of the project, the mobile app, and the organic structure of the project cryptocurrency.

There's a lot of vast positivity that the mobile application will generate for the UtopiaP2P ecosystem because we are in 21 century where most people like to access their favorite applications everywhere they feel especially when they are on the bus or want to have some fun on the go.

Re: mobile app. When?

The mobile application should not be a thing to actually worry about, I have never had any issues with using the desktop version of the Utopia p2p application well let’s just wait for the mobile application to be release and actually not force it.

when do you think they will update the app? Having experience with it, I can say that it is not very convenient and it is quite difficult for new users to figure it out.

Understand this mate, Utopia p2p already has a desktop version of their application that what I use presently but people feel it's not as flexible as mobile application would be so if there is a Mobile application with the full utilities of the desktop version then they would fancy it.

Well there is a mobile version but it’s just meant for the channel purposes it’s like a downgrade to the desktop version, I still believe that Utopia p2p can improve on it. For now I am okay with the desktop version of the application.

Re: mobile app. When?

The mobile application proper would probably come out next year, because it should not be amongst the pressing matter on Utopia p2p and if you are flexible and free to work anywhere then you can make do with the desktop version of the application.
