Important Update for All Utopia Mining Nodes Operators
We are pleased to announce the release of UAM (Utopia Alternative Miner) version 1.3.777, a mandatory update that introduces essential features required for the upcoming launch of Anysurf — the first decentralized browser providing external internet access as an alternative to Tor Browser, enabling users to bypass censorship restrictions in a growing number of countries.
Key Updates in Version 1.3.777:
- Integration with Anysurf: This update prepares the Utopia ecosystem for seamless compatibility with Anysurf, enhancing the network's ability to provide secure and unrestricted internet access. Currently no mining nodes will be used as exit nodes. In future miners will be able to earn additional profit for enabling internet access to Anysurf users.
- Enhanced Network Stability: Improvements have been made to ensure swifter integration of new peers into the network, leading to a more consistent and predictable mining process.
- Advanced Security Measures: We've fortified our system with enhanced protection against various types of attacks, safeguarding network performance and preventing increased traffic utilization for users.
Mandatory Update Deadline:
All miners are strongly advised to update the UAM software on their servers to the latest version before February 7, 2025, to ensure proper functioning of the network and to support the integration of Anysurf. The minimal required version for mining will be increased to 1.3.777 on February 7, 2025.
Failure to update before the deadline may result in interruptions to your mining activities and could affect the overall performance of the network.
