Well I don’t know if this is a discussion we need to see here. Well if you in China I think you should ask the Chinese that are close to you. This is an open group and members are from different parts of the world not only China.

I have also used NordVPN and trust me you are right it’s actually my default vpn but NordVPN isn’t available everywhere guys and I believe it’s not available in China.

Good to know that.  Some VPN apps are not good,  some invade your privacy. It also slows down the network. Thus making it bad.
This VPN expose you to threat from websites.

Well almost everything you download on your device can pose a real threat to it's user, I know that in some cases VPN are useful but honestly if you are opportuned to have another option it's best to take it.

Re: Which VPNs still work in China?

Have you tried browsing over Tor browser?
If that does not work then consider inquiring around the Chinese people. In situations where a service is blacklisted, you need early information to be aware of which is working at that particular point in time. At the point where a foreigner can help you with such information, the service might not be up for much longer.

Re: Which VPNs still work in China?

Many Chinese who want to connect to the outside world choose to rent a VPS.They tend to buy services provided by Chinese too. Those services usually include a built-in firewall, which disables customers to access certain sites(usually containing political content),like VOA,BBC,DW,epochtimes, pincong(品蔥),and even Twitter.

Re: Which VPNs still work in China?

First thing you must check is try not to use every VPN anyone suggest to you just in the name of getting protected that might just be too risky for you as some encroaches on your privacy.

Well you may be right VPN is quite risky but mate look at the brighter picture, I see VPN as a necessary risk some time that is why it's necessary to actually make the right choice when choosing any VPN.

Hey mate what’s your reason for wanting to use VPN? If it’s to hide your location then it’s good to Get a quality VPN but if it’s for anonymity and privacy then you ought to check out Utopia p2p.

There is an article I read that Utopia p2p works very well with VPN although I don't know how true that is I would still prefer a VPN free Utopia ecosystem.

Yea Utopia p2p can actually work very well with VPN and there are some location changes that VPN would offer you and Utopia p2p ecosystem doesn’t support but in terms of safety Utopia p2p is a above it.

Re: Which VPNs still work in China?

If I can get you properly you are in  china and probably needs VPN to change you location to another country? If the reason is for you to escape surveillance then why not just try Utopia p2p ecosystem.

I think someone also asks a question about this on the Utopia application and the best option will still be the Idyll browser but the website the user want to use will still need to be mirror on the Utopia p2p ecosystem.

Yes, the Utopia p2p service is what the user needs but the drawback of the Idyll browser is that only the site that's on the Utopia p2p ecosystem will work on the Idyll browser.

Maybe you and your friend are based in China so I can really say if it works in China but definitely I have used some of those VPN and they have always worked for me although there are risk to it too.

I have also used few of those VPN and still have some of them stand by and they work fine, although some of them need some sort of subscription.

I may not understand the OP but I have a feeling that those exchanges may not be working in China, China like some Asian countries are strict on internet laws so I believe this is very possible.

Are we still on this issue. Op first make sure that VPN is working or allowed in China that’s how to understand this properly and then find out which vpn is allowed.

How did this happen? Did you use an email to open it? If you did that could help to some certain level. All you just have to do is to request a change of password and that is it.
