Re: Let's have a sport board

Anyone following the Manchester United game?
They are 1-0 down to Leeds United at the Old trafford. That is a bit of a shock considering their great run of form over the past few matches.

They trail due to an early goal and while there is lots of time to rescue one point or the whole three, Leeds would want to hang on as their survival in the league depends on it.

Well PSG is one hell of a club that has been in top form for a very long time now and I hope it stays that way They can beat most teams. Looking at things,  they really don't have many competitors.

PSG even have an ongoing match in the Coupe de France league and they are currently playing against Marseille. This is the second the two sides will meet in the Coupe de France league. Their first meet was in 2018 and PSG defeat Marseille by 3 goals to nil.
We don't know if history will repeat itself today.

Well it would be great for Messi fan to see their goat again lift an important title, but I don't think it's easy realistically speaking top teams are still in the competition and all of them wants to win.

Re: Let's have a sport board

Would be interesting to see if the Paris Saint Germain board decides to consider getting a new coach if the team also fails to progress past the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions league in addition to getting kicked out of the cup competition.

There would be lots of pressure on the coach and the team as they try to finally chase down the elusive European trophy.

Christophe Galtier's deal to be the coach of Paris Saint-Germain was a two-year deal and if I am correct with my calculation the deal will end on June 2024. Why don't just wait and see the board's decision after his contract expire..

Guys the English premier league is starting to pick form and Arsenal are now getting even lucky, I believe if they continue to play like this they would be unstoppable and probably win the league.

Good work Chelsea they real surprised me, I never thought they could even hold Dortmund to a draw but not only did they draw the match they scored twice without conceding.

If judge by the team knowledge and the level of zeal put together for the match. I dont think you should be surprised that Chelsea defeat the Dortmund club unless if you dont expect them to perform well in the match right from the get-go.

Guys who else is doubting the ability of Arsenal to win the English premier league? They have shown character once again as they demolish Fulham by three goals to nil.

I saw that too although I am not a fan of Arsenal but I am liking their style of football and I believe if they continue playing like this they can achieve so much and even win the English premier league.

Re: Let's have a sport board

It’s still a long way to go to determine who would win the English premier league and Manchester City has a very good chance to win the league but for Arsenal they are lucky to have everything in their hands as they would only loose the trophy if they lose the opportunity to take advantage of it.

Who else think that the current group leaders across all the five big teams in Europe would end up winning the league, all of the current team are still doing very well in their respective leagues.

I think the old guys will be replaced by new ambitious teams.

And why do you think so, also when you say the old guys which team are you talking about you have to be specific because all the teams topping the five big leagues are all teams so I would like you to be more intelligent with your post.

Re: Let's have a sport board

There has been some speculation about the Barcelona administration trying to bride referees in the la Liga this is a good topic I believe we can all discuss on, in my own opinion those are wrong accusations as Barcelona hasn’t been having an easy season to believe they had any boost.

Yes I have also heard about the accusations on Barcelona although I am not saying they are guilty I believe we should let the due process take it course and hopefully see what the outcome would be.

If you properly check this it might just be a strategy from other teams to actually set Barcelona up, I believe Barcelona is innocent from all the accusations and I just hope this doesn't affect the mind set of the team in any way.

Barcelona is currently having financial crises this alone could stand in their favor when the final decision on the matter would be made because Barcelona can not use finances they are meant to run the club with to give out as a bride.

Barcelona can be having financial crises but they have good sources they get funds from so having money to send to referees as bride isn't the issue, I am not saying they outrightly did it but their financial situation isn't an excuse for them.

In every sports tournament, there is always an issue of a club trying to bride the referrer but we're in 21 century where everything is about technology and it's easy to notice some foul play. It the ref is guilty he will prosecute by the Fifa.

I don't have the chance to watch the match but let's ask ourselves. It is possible for a big football club like Barcelona to bride the referee because of a single game.
