Pictures on the forum

Does anyone know how to attach pictures to posts and topics on the forum? I saw pictures in DrHack's topics. Is this permission only for moderators, or am I just stupid and can't find the button?

No, there isn't any option to upload images to uTalk. @Dr-Hack attach images by the link of image (another site).

Can Imgur work here if I want to post pictures because several forum I am on are compatible with imgur and it's safe and easy for me.

I have tried the process that was suggested, but I still can’t make a clear post with a clear picture and it’s coming out as some quote. Will be grateful and happy if anyone can assist me with a different way to get this right

Do you mean like the forum rules or are you talking about the kind of pictures that should be allowed and those that shouldn’t, i think for pictures it shouldn’t be obscene or something that contains adult content, i believe if someone posts pictures that are not negative on a public forum it should be okay. I myself have also not been able to see the general rules of the forum, can someone show me where i can find the rules of the forum so i can read them and know what is allowed and not.

Well also something that contains a defamation, possible scam or something that undermines the Utopia p2p ecosystem should not be admitted in here, I have seen so many forums that just allow the influx of any pictures, they actually get bombarded with series of spamming.

Maybe what I would hate about this picture stuff is that many would use it as an opportunity to just drop so much memes, well I know that Utopia p2p application has a dedicated channel for meme on their application I don’t think we need such here

That is also possible, memes usually make a forum look like an area for unserious discussion, except there would be a section in the forum for fun and posting of memes can be allowed in there, but in the general forum discussion i don’t think it should be allowed, but that is for the moderators to decide, and only them can delete the posts of forum menbers, i am sure if they spot a member spamming their forum with too many memes, they will delete the posts and warn the member with a temporary ban, let us see how they handle things, for now the most important thing is for the forum to grow in traffic, then the moderators can start moderating such seriously.

Yes memes portray a forum as on serious and I don't know of any forum that has thrived by allowing steadying flow of memes. But still I have seen big forum dedicating some day(s) to meme, it's probably due to some event celebration or something like that.

Yeah, and even if they do not want to dedicate a day to meme here because there is probably nothing to celebrate, they could dedicate a section of the forum to memes and posting of other unserious things, they may call that section of the forum off topic section, and they can allow any kind of fun post to be made there.

No mate I think we don't need such unnecessary spam feast. I have never seen a meme program or contest that doesn't end up in spamming.

Well I do not think the forum has any plans to start a meme contest I believe that is not currently on the agenda of the team right now but I think on a lighter note maybe in the future the team can organize something like this and it won’t necessarily cause spamming

Pictures are very beautiful, they serve as a means to keep memories.
Having a picture contest is not a bad idea at all.
Pictures and memes bring spice and rhyme to life.
That's why as a photographer I love my job because it always keeps me entertained and knowing I help people to create memories by taking their pictures makes me happy and fulfilled.

I like the concept of the meme contest, and last I looked, I had taken part in the Utopia P2P team's meme contest from the previous year and was one of the contest's winners.
However, given the low traffic on this forum, the contest will be host outside this forum.
