BUG: spontaneous closing of the application.

the essence of the bug: while the ecosystem and the idyll browser are running, but collapsed into the tray, the utopia application closes spontaneously.

There is enough RAM, more than enough. There are no problems with the system.

Under windows 7, there may be problems with "the application does not respond", with similar symptoms.

Who has encountered it?

Re: BUG: spontaneous closing of the application.

I had this issue several times, I thought it happened because I use M1 chipset. my laptop has this issue with some apps, so I thought it's because of my laptop. or maybe yes, because of my laptop.

Re: BUG: spontaneous closing of the application.

It seems that there is no solution other than waiting for the developers. I recommend you try to run it in a sandbox to see if the same thing does not happen

Who else has a very old and weak pc, it was noticed that some games crash and stop working steadily. It all comes to the point where you have to reinstall the game.

Well, I can also add that newcomers using Utopia for the first time, often complain that when you start Utopia eats a lot of RAM and CPU resources.

Re: BUG: spontaneous closing of the application.

Check for Updates: Ensure your app is updated to the latest version. Developers often release updates to fix bugs like this.
Restart the App: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches.
Device Reboot: If the issue persists, try rebooting your device. This can clear out any temporary issues in the system

Re: BUG: spontaneous closing of the application.

Consider Alternative Apps: If the problem persists and the app developer is unresponsive, you might consider using alternative apps that offer similar functionality.

Utopia's heavy resource usage may be a trade-off for its robust encryption and privacy features, which prioritize security over minimizing system impact. Developers could explore ways to strike a better balance between security requirements and resource efficiency

Providing clear guidance on Utopia's system requirements can help users make informed decisions about whether their device can handle the application's resource demands effectively. This transparency fosters realistic expectations and reduces frustration for newcomers.

Totally agree! Clear system requirements help users know what to expect and avoid frustration. Kudos to Utopia for prioritizing transparency and user satisfaction! What are the minimum and recommended specs, by the way?

Re: BUG: spontaneous closing of the application.

The app unexpectedly shuts down without any warning or error message, disrupting user experience and potentially causing loss of unsaved data.

Re: BUG: spontaneous closing of the application.

Users encounter frequent instances where the app closes abruptly, even during normal usage, leading to frustration and inconvenience.

Ugh, that's so frustrating! It sounds like the app is crashing on you a lot, even when you're just using it normally. That's super inconvenient and annoying! It's like, you're in the middle of something important, and suddenly, poof! The app just closes on you. I feel your pain! It's definitely a problem that needs to be fixed, so you can use the app without all the interruptions. Have you tried reaching out to the app's support team or checking for updates? Maybe they can help you out! The Utopia network are a great team, I belive they are working on it.

Try and start by checking for overheating, software conflicts, and hardware issues. Ensure your system meets the software's requirements, update drivers, run antivirus scans, and monitor system resources. If the issue persists, consider reinstalling or repairing the software, or seeking technical support for deeper investigation.

onflicting software can cause instability. Check if any recently installed software coincides with the shutdowns. Try running the system in safe mode to see if the issue persists, which can help identify if the problem is caused by third-party software.

Faulty hardware components such as RAM, hard drives, or power supplies can lead to unexpected shutdowns. Run hardware diagnostics to check for any issues. Re-seat components if necessary and ensure all connections are secure.

Infact, Ensure that your system meets the minimum requirements for the software you are using. Running resource-intensive software on hardware that does not meet its requirements can lead to instability and shutdowns.Outdated or faulty drivers can cause system crashes. Update your graphics card, chipset, and other hardware drivers to the latest versions available from the manufacturer's website.

Re: BUG: spontaneous closing of the application.

Incompatibility between software and hardware can result in system instability and frequent shutdowns, disrupting workflow and potentially causing data loss or corruption. By meeting the minimum requirements, you minimize the risk of such issues and maintain a stable computing environment.

Re: BUG: spontaneous closing of the application.

Centralized cryptocurrencies walk a fine line between innovation and regulation. While they offer certain conveniences, their centralized nature makes them more susceptible to regulatory crackdowns, posing risks to investors and users alike.
