#2051 Re: Channels and Groups » The forum special board » 2023-02-08 19:46:44

For me, I would say suggesting an addition is enough, we do not need to force the hands of the team by casting a vote or any other sort of poll.

The team reads our comments and threads and would make a decision on any idea they consider worth it and effect changes, we just have to be patient.

Well PSG has a tough test ahead as they face Bayern Munich in the next round, I don’t think it would be easy for any of the team but I am rooting for psg.

One thing about this stage of the competition is that you cannot predict any winner. There are so many great teams and having fought your way out of the group means that the team deserves to be here.

Also lots of exciting fixtures to look forward to and exciting players. A treat for football lovers.

The next Bitcoin halving is expected to occur in March 2024. The cryptocurrency market is already starting to show signs of movement now. In the next 6 months, there may be a buildup of excitement similar to that seen four years ago. This period of increased activity may be seen as a warm-up before the halving in 2024. These first 6 months are a time phase where you buy CRP cheaply.

You are right about the timing for the halving and its significance to the market price.

If previous market cycles are anything to go buy, there would be a slight dip between late 2022 and early 2023 as everyone tries to buy in cheap in expectation of increased prices.

But as I mentioned, I would not be surprised if Crypton does not follow the regular rules.

I don’t think short term holders should be amongst us, we actually don’t need them in this ecosystem, short term holders has actually left coin very worthless.

Short term holders are actually very useful for liquidity and trading volume. If everyone was holding for the long term, then it would be almost impossible to purchase and affect the availability of the coin.

The downside is that they slow price growth if they are panic sellers that dump once the price is not in the green zone.

Yeah sure, this forum has a lot of skilled individuals, but in a contest like this i don’t think that it is the most important thing, i say so because what is most important about a contest is the prize money to be won, and in this case it is the admin that will have to provide that, so without their approval any plan is futile.

The prize money is very important, but equally important is the engagement that would be gotten from such a contest.
Reason I suggested the members can help to reduce the cost of running it, making it more profitable for the team if it is well received by the football community.

The final decision rests on the team.

#2056 Re: General Discussion » Warning: Don’t leave your funds on an exchange/crypto service » 2023-02-08 19:19:54

Not your keys; not your coins. This is one of the most important advice for a crypto holder and should not be taken lightly at all.

Exchanges are for that, exchanging your funds, you do not need to keep funds in them longer than is needed to convert them to your desired currency. Use a good wallet that gives you full custody and keep your funds there.

Same here.

Most coins are hugely correlated with bitcoin and I do not expect Bitcoin to enter a bull phase within the next 6 months or even a year. CRP could of course chart its own path and be completely independent of other assets as many great projects have in the past.

But whether in the next six months or 12 or more, we just have to hold.

Definitely. In the spirit of sportsmanship, he would not want it to be due to activities off the pitch that led to them winning the league as that would be a question mark on their triumph.

I would expect Arteta and the Arsenal players would not want points chopped of city.

We would never know until the channel is set up and fully functional.

I for one would contribute whenever I can to the channel and try to keep it as active as I can and if we have a couple of other like-minded people, we have an active channel, if not we have given it a shot.

Then how about those that actually lost their cryptocurrency funds to fraudsters and where still Able to get it recovered, so it’s actually possible to recover lost funds but the truth is that it’s never going to be easy.

If it is a huge amount involved, then government agencies would make attempt to make it difficult for the hackers to sell the funds and they can be traced by exchanges; they would expose your details if it is a court order.

If your funds have been moved from your wallet to a scammers own, possibility of recovery is very slim.

You utilize alternative sources of electricity if it is too expensive. Many crypto miners are going green and cheaper with electricity sources like wind, sun light, dams etc.

Do not rush it of course and only get in when you are ready

if one is scared of giving out their information to multiple platforms, they should be equally scared of giving it to one.

Off course, the more the exchanges we use, the higher the risk of being involved in a hack or breach, but my point is that if you consider multiple CEXes to be risky, why use any at all?

Yeah, that is true. But looking at it from another angle, if you don't tell them that a particular coin is doing very well and you make some good amount of cool cash from it and probably they found it later it must have been exhausted, they will look at you as a bad person for withholding such valuable information or blaming you that you didn't convince them enough. Either way, you look bad at it so why not just tell them?

Enlightening someone about something is not the same as convincing them to buy it. If they show considerable interest, provide them with as much information about the asset as possible, enough to allow them make an informed decision and inform them of the consequences of their actions.

Never give financial advice.

If the exchanges close or crash, you do not lose anything.

Barcelona won convincingly by 3 goals and now lead by 8 points.

Despite being the overall best Spanish team so far, Barcelona has also scored the most goals and by far conceded the least, with the closest team conceding ten goals more than them.

A league win for Xavi would likely make up for the disappointment in Europe and could put them in a good position for next season.
