Only in English?

Are you going to create a room for people who speak other languages such as Spanish? Or is it mandatory to write only in English?

Thank you

Re: Only in English?

as Saahil said, you can find some threads from Utopia local communities there.
https://talk.u.is/viewforum.php?id=21
or make your own thread with your preferred language.

Re: Only in English?

I think there are enough spanish speakers using utopia,
I hope someone will create a thread and publish the news.
If in a few months time no one will do it, I think I'll create one myself.

migyolman if you are interested in creating it I can help you.

Re: Only in English?

I'm spanish, but I understand that just as we can request channels in Spanish, this would open the obligation to do so in the rest of the languages.

If you mean about the forum, you can create a separate thread on whatever topic in your native Spanish, with prior warning. And as I know the rules of the forum do not forbid it.

As for the forum. Then it all depends on the laziness of the developer of this site. smile
But so far as can be seen by the activity and online on this forum need for adaptation to other languages is not important...

You mean ask? If it's about the Utopia ecosystem in terms of stuffing content in Spanish, you can solve this problem by creating your own channel and be a content maker for your group in cases and get a profit for it, if you can talk to the organizers of the Utopia project as an activist, of course.

As for me, it will not be very expedient and will not even be clear to those who will use this translator. After all, the same Google translator, does not perform its task adequately. As for me, it is easier to hire contentmakers who will translate into their languages to you the main and important branches that will need to be mandatory for translation.

There is no point in introducing a translator into the Utopia ecosystem. After all, it will take a humongous interest in the use of calculating servers and complicated technical implementation, and possibly not possible. It will be easier and cheaper to make official channels which will translate the posts from the English-language channel for important information, than to use these tools.

Hi. I think that it is possible to insert a function as a prefabricated translated text typed and typed. And you could use it as a button to select the translation into different languages.

Re: Only in English?

in the Utopia chat only English is spoken, there is one in Spanish but without an airdrop, an airdrop in Spanish would be good to help the Latin community grow more

Listen... And that would be an interesting idea that could simplify and optimize all the unnecessary copy news channels).

If you have an idea how to invite the Latin community you can suggest it to the developers of Utopia).

There are translation tools so that the language is not an obstacle, but I think it would be much easier to enrich the conversation, for example, in the chat lobby if it were available in several languages, there are users who only write "good luck" and things like that, only short sentences since they cannot comfortably present their ideas in a language that is foreign to them.

It's still complicated and there can be linguistic misunderstandings, so that there is no such confusion, it's easier to divide the chats under their keepers, and the news feed as the guy above said, just move it to each language.

Re: Only in English?

basically what I wanted to say is that the airdrop is a very good hook to attract new users, so I think it would be a great idea to have one in Spanish.

If an Aidrop, then a simple and interesting one, so that it would be easy to win the hearts of the people.
