Yes that's why I actually recommend the use of 2Fa factor just Incase your first like of defense has been desolated. Using the 2fa factors would mean no entrance for the invader.

This is very important but also one way to avoid such things is make sure you use different devices, try to dedicate one device for your crypto saving and it's best to keep it off line.
This really helps a lot. As someone who is invested in cryptocurrencies, you should always separate your devices. That is work device and a personal device.
The idea of having separate device for work and personal one is good. However, adequate knowledge about how to securely use the personal device is also needed or else the purpose of having the personal device won't be fulfilled.

I think the best way to secure the personal device is to mainly use it for cryptocurrency and never download an application that's not from a trusted source and should be used mostly offline.

Nevertheless, there will also be a need for a good antivirus and internet security either which always check the personal new update for malicious or virus.

What other security measures do you think you can employ?? Utopia p2p has given you all the security you need. That's one thing I like about the Utopia p2p network.

How does getting scammed relate to cryptocurrency or the Utopia community? Whosoever gets scammed got scammed because of their stupidity and foolishness and accompanied with greed.

Many newbies are on this table. They always want security, privacy, and anonymity but will never follow the rules and regulations that govern cyber security.

Let's learn to protect ourselves and those around us. We should also continue to sing it out loud to individuals so they don't forget the concept of privacy and anonymity

You know you have a point because the online bad actors always see a victim that they will be robbed of their money which means people are truly not playing by the online security rules.

Let us accept that some people are not playing by the online security rules but when we don't have the information they needed to play by the online security rule they will continue to be prey.

You made the right point. From my own understanding, the number of rules people need to follow in other not to be a victim of online bad actors is to never be greedy. If you guys notice most of their victims are greedy people

You noted an important rule but the major rule I believe will save anyone from online theft is the use of privacy in every area of things that have to do with crypto and online activities.

Privacy is always important anywhere any day. Online theft grows their wings regularly and makes sure they always have an edge over an average user

I've written a lot about threat actors attacking people and how they can harm the cryptocurrency market, but today I want to talk about how to stop threats from evildoers.
1. System updates and patches should be applied on a regular basis in order to prevent known vulnerabilities from being exploited.
2. Use advanced internet security: Make use of security tools that can track network activity and spot any unusual behavior that might point to a security threat.
3. Never click a link from an unreliable source.
I solely agree on your number 1 and 2 advice, most links are directed to scam and by merely clicking on a link, your account can be hacked into or prone to threats. Thank you for bringing the best advice on Security precautions here

What you just said now is completely true. That's how they operate lately. They do not need you to download whatever file. All they need you to do is click their link and you are done.

These are things we can not change so we need to live with them. A regulatory body for scanners needs to be set up against these scammers. They won't stop unless you stop them.

Honestly there is nothing a regulation board can do about it, it's really difficult to handle, the best thing is for holders to be very careful the way they practice cryptocurrency that's all.

I quite agree with this, if you are well familiar with these forum you
can actually noticed that there are demands in advertising services which also can be of a support in reaching new users and that always have it risk. Its essential to keep tab on dubious act.

You're right the cookies feature is one of the activities used by some websites to steal the information of their site visitors and there's also Cloudflare which is enough for a website to get all user information through it.
