From my own perspective, its the idea that I can perform all my computational activities while I also earn, listen to music, and play games is an innovative idea to me but it will be nice if we see metaverse, NFT, and DeFI on the Utopia ecosystem.
Those are very good reasons to be here, Utopia has something for everyone at this point and still has lots of room to include more things with time as you pointed out.
While we want expansion, I do not think that all systems would fit in, I would like to see how NFT and the metaverse connect with Utopia, but I am not enthusiastic about DeFi.
You said, you're into crypto for 5years are you into day trading?
No, I am not into day trading, but I understand that it can lead to an addiction if someone gets to invested in it.
Day trading does not mean one has to do it daily or throughout the entire day. Moderating the time you spend on your computer trading would help to reduce the chances of someone getting addicted. Having some other hobby also goes a long way to help.

• No, channels can not be passed from one user to another.
The usage of Crypton crp has even taking the turn for the better as it is accepted by over 1800 merchants this is an amazing feet and it’s one that would also boost the popularity of CRP Crypton in the world.
1800 is not a recent news, I would expect that the number is much higher now than it was then and that there are more people willing to pay with CRP.
Popularity and adoption is on the rise and this would only mean an increase in price at sometime in the future.
It has held its value very well now while many other coins are drowning in today's market.
The topic of regularly checking your balance is relative to different investors. The two points to consider here is if you are exposing yourself to any security risk or if your investments is negatively affecting your personal life.
On the first part, there are ways to check your investments without constantly openong your wallet and connecting your keys to the internet such as watch only wallets or block explorers. And checking your investment every other week or month does not really eat up much of your time, I would actually recommend it as ell as checking your backed up seed too.
No one really has to explain why they want to remain anonymous and private, it is a right that everyone should have and be able to comfortably maintain without much hassles.
This is difficult to keep in the present day and age where data is now an invaluable asset and is wanted by different parties.
Many newbies are guilty of this habit. They don't care to know the rules of exchanges. I think webinars and seminars should be done to enlighten beginners to avoid making such mistakes.
Lack of information is not the issue in most cases but the lack of desire to want to be their own bank. Most want the exchanges to handle the custody of their cryptocurrency while they trust them to not lose their funds and grant them access when they want to spend it, similar to the banking system which they are used to.
If they have not changed their mindset despite the numerous hacks on centralized exchanges then webinars and the likes would not make much difference.
hello everyone, why only in english?
It somehow winds up as the predominant language cause it is the most popular by spread across the globe and not number of users speaking it. Platforms usually use English as the default and the create local boards for the different languages, hopefully we have such boards in the future on uTalk.
The debate on whether Pep should have taken off Erling Halland at the hour mark when he was chasing a double hat-trick is an interesting one. We can consider that there are many more matches and he has to keep his players fresh which involves giving them a rest when the game is won, but he was chasing to break a record held first by Lionel Messi, who along with Ronaldo enjoyed the opportunity to play full time of almost every game to allow them set such ridiculous goal scoring records and if anyone is to compare they would need that same opportunity.
In the grand scheme of things, it does not really matter. the team is int the last 8, and the squad seems to be very happy with the playing time they are getting.
Cannot wait for tonights fixtures and the QF draw to follow on Friday.
This is an interesting discourse. Practically, yes; utopia, like other cryptos can survive in a totalitarian government which is not in support of it. But there are pros and cons to this which might make one not want to get involved in it, for one you need to be extra security conscious, by avoiding centralized platforms, using Tor browser, trading P2P etc.
For some it is safer to move to a more crypto friendly nation.
never keep your crypto on CEX for the long term even if it's Binance since it's operated by humans and they can change their terms and condition any moment.
They do not even need to change anything on their terms and condition as it already gives them the authority to use your funds as they seem fit, this includes restricting access to it for reasons best known to them and requesting additional personal information whenever they want it.
You would not want to be at the mercy of a third party when you can hold the funds securely yourself.
At this point in the growth of the utopia system, more people should have understood how decentralization and privacy works. A privacy inclined platform does not need you to submit personal information which would be vetted by a regulatory body, it does not even have such a body.
Email verification, KYC, etc are not part of the system. You act as your own central authority.
Interest in crypto always leads to addiction buddy this is one of the reasons why I believe day trading would easily lead to even more addiction. I can boldly tell you that ever since I join cryptocurrency investment time I don't have my 8 hours of sleep completely.
I don't say day trading is bad but the habit of doing it 24/7 is what I consider bad.
Interest in crypto does not always lead to addictions. I have been into crypto for over five years now and have never struggled with addiction or inability to zone out at times when I want to.
And I never said you stated that day trading is bad, just pointed out that it is not the act, but the individual involved in it
Great to see people warming up to the idea of accepting virtual currencies when they are given sufficient information to understand how it works and not just trust what the governments and banks tell them.
It shows that global adoption within the foreseeable future is possible, we just need more accurate information to be easily available.
Third party retailers can open portals for people to purchase the Starlink product and pay in Crypton, but getting it to be a service offered directly from the manufacturers would take a bit more time.
If there is a huge market for the CRP payment option, it would spur them to consider making it an official payment method.
Would be interesting to see if the Paris Saint Germain board decides to consider getting a new coach if the team also fails to progress past the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions league in addition to getting kicked out of the cup competition.
There would be lots of pressure on the coach and the team as they try to finally chase down the elusive European trophy.
What's Bitcointalk? Is this another services that Utopia p2p offer? Well I believe that the forum needs a special board.
It is not a service offered by utopia but a crypto forum. We should not be discussing alternate forums here cause uTalk has awesome features, as much as any crypto enthusiast needs.
Yes, the developers go through every comment at some point but we need to understand that they are busy either, and whenever a request or suggest I made they (the development team) understand and will work on what is most needed.
Managing a forum is a tough job and as you pointed out, the admins would be very busy and set their priorities straight for what they want to add to the forum and how pressing a particular suggestion is.
What's the purpose of his asking us the question in the first if he's going to ignore our advice
This is an online forum, do not expect every member to be conscious of replies or even return to threads that they start. Some users log in only on free time and could go days without being active, some just comment or ask a question without being curious about the answer and some read the comments but do not bother to reply.
A lock option would have been useful in this case to prevent spam on the thread.
Yes, it is an unhealthy habit no matter how good to may look in the eyes of the people who practice it and this is the reason why I never supported the idea of day trading of a cryptocurrency cause it may lead to addiction.
Day trading is not bad per se, it is all down to how it is used. Almost any habit or hobby can lead to addiction. Even interest in crypto can lead to addiction and the user keeps checking the charts every minute to know if there has been any changes, even though they are not trading.
It is all down to self control and discipline.
I agree with what you said. I believe the major problem we have in the cryptocurrency market is that most investors actually don't make use of it as payment they mostly saw it as an asset only and for cryptocurrency to get the needed attention people also need to feel the use of it as a payment method.
For people to use it as a payment, it has to be accepted by merchants around them. I know we already have thousands of merchants accepting crypton as it is, but it is still little compared with more popular payment channels.
The most utilized quality of crypton at this time is as an asset and one which allows people transact anonymously and privately.
The use of a throw-away email address can provide the needed privacy that will connect users in any way but you need to understand there is some platform that never accepts throwaway. This reminds me of when I used a throwaway phone number to register a Twitter account, but after 5days the account was blocked.
That may have not been the reason that your account was blocked. Twitter is strict with new accounts and could have been you violated another of their policy at the time.
Any platform that is averse to throwaway emails is not privacy conscious then and should be avoided if possible, or you sign up with a random address which does not link back to you and you would not reuse on another platform.
It is not always about rookie mistakes because I learn that in the cryptocurrency sphere, some people easily trust influencers, especially those who are doing well with the government.
That of itself is another rookie mistake that no one should be making.
Influencers would market anything that favors them. If an exchange paid them to talk about them and get their followers to use the exchange, they likely would. If a project came to them with a huge offer to shill them, they would also.
If you are into crypto, you should learn to make informed decisions and not simply trust a "big influencer"
Thank you for this great piece of advice. The only problem i have is where i come from this alternative sources haven’t been explored to the point were i can use them adequately, i am from an underdeveloped country, and even if i am to seek alternative sources, it might still not be profitable for me to mine.
Being an underdeveloped country does not limit you from purchasing a wind turbine or a solar panel all of which count as alternative sources of electricity. It could even benefit you if those mediums have not been well explored in your area and you could find other ways they could be applied.
Do not rush it however, if you check the logistics and you guess it would not be profitable, you can put a pause on it.
Anyone following the Manchester United game?
They are 1-0 down to Leeds United at the Old trafford. That is a bit of a shock considering their great run of form over the past few matches.
They trail due to an early goal and while there is lots of time to rescue one point or the whole three, Leeds would want to hang on as their survival in the league depends on it.
Well Nft is still a thing all I can say is that it was better at the beginning when we had few of them right now any fake projects can get up and start their own Nft market place.
The industry is now saturated and that was expected. There was large amounts of money flowing through it, attracting honest designers an con artists who tried to scam people through NFTs.
It still has some potential and could become popular again during the next bull run, but time would tell that.
