No one is monitoring your life or dictating it.  What games do you play on Utopia?

The freedom of privacy is unmatched and the irony of it all is that once privacy is lost it cannot be retained as "the internet never forgets".

I am not active at playing any games now, but look forward to getting more active, especially on Utopia.

Personally I wished I had known about cryptocurrency way back in 2009 I think probably if I had made good investments by now I would probably have retired.

Everyone wishes they had known about cryptocurrency earlier and regret not joining bitcoin early enough, so much so that they miss out on projects which have lots of potential and which are still early in its growth, and when they do find such projects they end up selling as soon as there is a market dip.

Rather than regretting, we can look forward and look towards future potential gems.

#2178 Re: General Discussion » Crypton as a medium of payment in UK » 2023-01-15 19:12:39

To include a new medium of payment there has to be some sort of demand for it from the customers. Is there a demand among the hospital customers for a crypto related medium of payment and how popular is that demand? After answering this question, then you can decide whether or not to go ahead with it.

The likely challenges you will face is in demand and whether or not to hold in the crypto or convert to fiat.
You also has to consider the legal standings of crypto in the country.

Well if you are also the type of person that wants profits you can also hold CRP Crypton, this gem is very solid and it gives lots of profits to its holders.

Besides the potential Return on investment there are so many other utilities one can benefit from Crypton and the Utopia platform. It is good to hodl, but that does not contribute to the transactions and utility of the network, so holders and spenders are appreciated on the network.

I would surely be holding unto my CRP coins.

Can you explain more about this? I am aware that truly great projects have some sort of resistance to manipulation from whales or governments, but I am not aware that a manipulation resistance feature exists in the Utopia ecosystem.

By all the other privacy coins, which are you referring to exactly?

#2182 Re: General Discussion » What do you enjoy doing outside of crypto? » 2023-01-14 18:47:27

I enjoy sports, video games and reading. My favorite among them would be sports
These are what I spend most of my free time doing when I am not discussing about cryptocurrencies or building my portfolio.

Everyone interested in crypto should have a life outside this and have a distraction to take their mind away from charts and analysis every once in a while.

It depends on how you look at it. The way I see it, all humans have the capacity to do great things with their mind and build amazing stuffs. Having a personal assistant that takes lots of the load of daily living allows us more time to harmonize our mind.

This of course does not mean everyone must be a creator or a tech engineer, and unskilled laborers would mostly be out of jobs, but after while I expect the world will adjust.

I also enjoy the general discussion board and do visit it quite often, and having a forum like this to communicate with like minded and experienced users is a plus.

My personal best feature is how fast the forum is being improved upon. The devs are responsive in adding some new features and improving the user experience.

In the spirit of giving back feedbacks, we can use this thread to list out our favorite features on the forum, to show the best works and features the team has put in.

So, what do you enjoy most on uTalk?

#2186 Re: Questions and Help » No Captcha » 2023-01-14 12:57:26

I expect the mods understand the need for Captcha on the forum and how it would help prevent bots from spamming the whole place. There can also be a captcha bypass after registration so one does not have to deal with it everytime they logged in.

CrytoCynthia;2866 wrote:

Suggestions are welcome in my opinion. The team would decide what to consider and what to ignore.

Six months is actually short judging by how long it takes for a coin to go parabolic, even if I am enthusiastic about CRP Crypton and the Cryptocurrency market generally this year I still think it would take time to Materialise.

Six months is short depending on the type of market we are in.

During bull runs, the price, adoption and utility can grow sporadically within a very short period of time and during bear markets: growth is slower and sometimes there can even be corrections. This are the periods when good projects can be more easily identified as most coins and tokens would fizzle away during this time.

Maybe we revisit this thread in six months and check how much growth has occured

It definitely is a coin that should not be missed. Identifying a potential coin is one thing, getting on on it early is another, and all of us here are privileged to be in early on CRP and can consider ourselves early birds.

You think eighteen hundred + merchants is high, wait for the next five to ten years and see how much adoption would have occurred.

Artificial intelligence is way more than what it is portrayed to be and has undergone a lot of improvements within the last 5 years to a decade.

And talking about it stealing people's jobs, it s also creating jobs for a huge number of people in software designing and tech and making lives better for the general public. There would always be demand for the human touch, AI would only give us more time to fully use our minds and apply it to relevant fields.

#2190 Re: Crypton Purchase, Sale and Exchange » change for paper currency p2p » 2023-01-13 20:59:37

Why would one need to bypass exchanges and expose themselves to the risk of trading face to face with random strangers?

There are many ways to harness a Peer-2-Peer system which would not compromise your privacy and anonymity in anyway, even at the point of receiving fiat.
Utopia already has all systems ready for use, we just need to fully utilize it at this point.

Security without freedom does not exist. In most stable coins you are at the mercy of the devs as they can seize or freeze your coins at any time and without proper auditing can report false reserve currency values, meaning h=they may not be 1 : 1 as they claim to be.

Understand the risks associated with any asset you wish to hold or are holding and act accordingly.

#2193 Re: General Discussion » Crypton in the next six month » 2023-01-13 20:42:29

Crypton is growing very fast from the point when it traded for less than 20 cents and had very little volume in the market.

In the next 6 months I expect to experience more significant growths in price, adoption and utility. It could become a top 500 coin by market cap and have a trading volume of over $100k .
Then possibly get close to our ATH within the next year or two.

#2194 Re: General Discussion » A compilation of reasons and arguments why one should be anonymous. » 2023-01-13 07:26:57

Considering the theme of this thread, maybe we can have a compilation of privacy-esque alternatives to popular social media platforms can have a list of available options they can use.

This would involve platforms that do not require any personal information, maintaining anonymity and does not keep logs of browsing sessions, keeping the user private.
Would anyone be interested in this?

uNs is the decentralized version of DNS - Domain Name System. DNS are servers which help to translate domain names from human readable form to machine readable IP addreses: "The uNS, in contrast, is a truly decentralized, non-censored registry hosted by Utopia network participants, with no expiration dates, renewal fees, suspensions or revocations. There is only the one rule: first come, first served."

You can read more about it and how to set it up here - https://utopiaecosystem.com/how-to-register-uns-name/

You have a point but I think the bot can still be useful on the Utopia p2p telegram channel due to some spam message that was posted on the Utopia telegram at some point. However, it will be nice if the bot can also work on the Utopia app client.

I double as a telegram moderator for projects and in my experience, nothing beats the human touch when dealing with a community. A bot is rigid and inflexible in deciding what constitutes spam and some of them send back messages to the group on each post deletion which could also spam the group.

An active mod would detect spam as it comes and decide the best action to take to not be too strict in moderation or to lenient.

#2197 Re: General Discussion » Learning about utopia p2p » 2023-01-13 06:59:12

You are absolutely right joanna. Utopia USD as the first if its kind decentralized and anonymous stable coin is a game changer in the field and has so much potential above so many other stable coins with fluctuating market cap, due to instability in the supply and lack of transparency.

The Utopia ecosystem is as robust as it gets, and provides all that a crypto enthusiast needs, all in one place.

About us seeing another event soon, hopefully there would be a similar one for the EURO tournament coming up next year in Germany, and there is also the Copa America which would be hosted by the United States. So many tournaments to spin up a prediction game off.

Let me try to rephrase, by reducing the decentralization effect of the network, I was referring to how utopia ecosystem was originally designed to be.

It was meant to be decentralized and anonymous, giving the user full control of their actions and the custom token; Utopia. If you use it on a centralized network, it does not work as intended on the network, hence reducing the effect.

#2200 Re: Crypton Purchase, Sale and Exchange » LBank Exchange listed CRP » 2023-01-12 20:57:32

It is alright if many here are comfortable trading crypton on the Utopian exchange, but for mass adoption and more liquidity, it is imperative that it gets listed on many other exchange platforms, even centralized ones.

Real growth occurs when multiple people have access to it on multiple platforms.
