#1 Re: Channels and Groups » CryptonBET » 2022-06-20 05:09:43

the more forms of rewards the better. I like utopia more and more haha

#2 Re: Channels and Groups » UJOB » 2022-06-20 04:59:33

Come in. seems fine. It is logical that there are few offers due to the small size of the community

#3 Re: Channels and Groups » channel for writers » 2022-06-20 04:53:55

Create the channel and promote it from outside the ecosystem. It will be difficult, very difficult above all, to teach people to access utopia and trust in doing so. maybe a tutorial article would be a good idea

#4 Re: General Discussion » SEC. Are there any opportunities? » 2022-06-20 04:51:36

I believe that utopia is still too small to represent the minimum danger. The sec will not take any action against utopia because I don't even know about it

#5 Re: General Discussion » Unofficial Roadmap » 2022-06-20 04:48:33

good collaboration. I think there are more than enough modules. what is missing is more support in development . that the code is closed slows down that part a lot. The other thing that remains is to attract more people to the system so that it generates more internal economic life.

#6 Re: General Discussion » Utopia P2P in Romania » 2022-06-20 04:45:02

I think it should be enough to advertise on the networks with some videos about the privacy of utopia

#7 Re: General Discussion » Utopia in India » 2022-06-20 04:42:50

I have read that tiktok is super famous in india. maybe if someone related to privacy who publishes videos on tiktok talks about utopia it would make it more popular in the country

#8 Re: General Discussion » What is currently missing within the ecosystem? » 2022-06-20 04:40:02

Some crazy ideas. A market of images, A market of games. Social networks of creative people to share and sell their work. something like selling the assets for games

#9 Re: General Discussion » BUG: spontaneous closing of the application. » 2022-06-20 04:37:37

It seems that there is no solution other than waiting for the developers. I recommend you try to run it in a sandbox to see if the same thing does not happen

#10 Re: General Discussion » Utopia Client Version 1.0.7058 » 2022-06-20 04:35:39

When is the new release. Do they use any roadmap or?

#11 Re: General Discussion » Description of the Principles of Operation of the Utopia Network » 2022-06-19 06:07:10

Every day the world is more aggressive with privacy and they seek to limit us everywhere. Thank you for this creation

Create a forum but use DigiId for login procedures. Digiid is a digibyte method to log in only with a wallet on the mobile without tracking

#13 Re: General Discussion » What is reason for huge spike in price of CRP? » 2022-06-19 06:03:42

But incredibly, with the current drop in bitcoin, CRP has hardly been affected. that demonstrates the non-relationship with the external market and the possible solidity before world events

#14 Re: General Discussion » BUG: Utopia client process does not close properly when signing out » 2022-06-19 06:02:07

On linux it works fine. It just takes a while to close the process. I guess it has to do with some particular linux library

Let's hope that in today's world, people use mobile phones much more than computers. It would be very good publicity for the network.

Interesting method.
I guess that jumping between 15 or 14 computers you can't ask for more. It seems to me that this method of anonymity is too lacking in other aspects. In the end, I think you should look at other possibilities that do not involve many node jumps.

#17 Re: General Discussion » Utopia is the future of the darknet? CRIME like TOR? » 2022-06-19 05:57:13

Wherever there is high anonymity, crime will surely exist. But crime exists just as it always finds a way. The thing is to prepare people so that they are not part of it.

Obtain data from them through facebook and write them data from their daily life from a secure account, tell them that they are all public on the internet. do not reveal your identity

It would be nice to implement a translation tool available for most utopia platforms without having to recreate it every time. maybe via api calls

#20 Re: General Discussion » Exploring the potential of gambling » 2022-06-19 05:52:24

There are ways to ensure the randomness of the game. I've seen some systems that use a nasa api that produces random numbers based on stars or something.

I don&#039;t need network forks. You can understand the developers: the software is unique, a lot of effort has been spent, and it is unwise to give it to everyone.</p><p>It is curious, but a fact: only 1-2 out of 100,000 users can conduct a real audit of the source code. Open source applications are being hacked much more often.</p><p>Thus, open sources become just a tick in marketing.</p>

Yes, in part, it does not guarantee the security of the code itself. But it removes the developers' responsibility for hiding a potential backdoor in an application that will collect data about you by default. And as for me this product's theme as anonymity of actions in the network should imply open source code as for self-study of what potential risks there could be and what responsibility the user can bear himself, instead of shifting the blame to those who developed it. And until a certain solution to open source is applied, the messenger "Utopia" will continue to be called, "The Business of Anonymity".

I agree with what you said in the sense that open source generates trust within the Dev team, user, and the community. However, it will lead to the vulnerability of the platform but the platform will easily gain more user.

I believe there's alot of important reason why the Utopia make the source code to e close source.

It would be interesting to know which ones?

About backdoor in an application but people review the code they will easily trust the developer and won't shift blame them. But for the record, according to what was written in the Utopia Readme file it says "The 1984 Group, which is the anonymous development team behind Utopia, may disclose certain parts of code, specifically related to communication and encryption. However, the decentralized protocol will not be released."
Which means the main reason why the code is close source is to prevent imitation etc.

But that makes it possible for utopia not even to be decentralized, It could be multiple servers somewhere or it could be the same identical tor protocol with a graphical interface on top.. In the end everything is left to trust in the 1984 group

#22 Re: General Discussion » Utopia in China. » 2022-06-17 05:45:43

Recently, many analyzes have come out where it is said that the crypto trading activity in China is quite high. apparently there are a lot of people ignoring the law in china. I have always wondered if it is possible to connect from china through utopia without them suspecting?

Cool. Good ideas.
I am also available to translate the interface into Spanish. it would be nice to add more ways to work with the threads that one creates

#24 Re: General Discussion » The Great Escape via Utopia » 2022-06-17 05:38:26

For the next one it is better to make the file in a file blockchain. there are a few I suppose are more resistant to censorship.

#25 Re: General Discussion » Is the utopia ecosystem suitable for conducting opposition activities? » 2022-06-17 05:36:37

I consider that any network that provides privacy of origin is functional for opposition activities. although remember that if your web page is vulnerable it does not matter if it is accessed from utopia it is still vulnerable
