When that is done, it stimulates everyone including our targeted audience which will take us to the next level.

Of course that is not a bad idea, but then again the issue of anonymity comes into the discussion, i am sure many people want to organize stuffs like this, but they wouldn’t because it would expose their identity. Well in your local community where everyone knows you already, it is a good idea to organize something like this and make people aware of the utopia ecosystem.

I don’t have any problems with AI or ChatGPT, if it helps people do their jobs faster and aids individuals in their research, just as Google does, then it is a welcome development. I have always said it, and also thought about it that very soon computers and robots would start taking human jobs, they perform the job faster and probably better, i don’t know if it is a good or bad thing, but it is something that will happen someday.

Exactly, that is what the channel is, just like a broker, the channels acts as a broker between people who want to advertise jobs and people who want to apply for jobs. So if you have a job offer, you can advertise it on the channel, ads are free, so if members see your ad and are interested in your job proposal and they would apply, it is now up to you to hire them or not. The traffic there is low, but if you have something interesting, post it there.

It is the big Manchester Derby tomorrow, who is looking forward to it, i definitely am, it is going to be a very tough game, Manchester City won the first leg 6-3, so Manchester United will be looking for revenge, and they can get it, Erik Ten Hag has been doing well with United lately and i think they can win. Any betting tips or odds from anyone.

Guys the forum is fast taking shape and this gives me great joy . I see lots of reasonable contributions from people. It’s just a matter of time before we get a full forum board.

I thought i was the only one who noticed this, the traffic in here is growing, and members are not only posting, they are actively contributing to the discussions that are ongoing, helping each other out and making good suggestions, i really hope it continues because i love this forum.

I think this is the right time for uTalk admins to do more and try to keep the traffic coming, maybe introduce new stuffs that will make people come here and keep them here too.

Let me try to rephrase, by reducing the decentralization effect of the network, I was referring to how utopia ecosystem was originally designed to be.

I understood you the first time mate, and i will give you a good example, bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency, and users are supposed to use it that way and keep their btc in their own custody, if you store your btc in a centralized exchange and give the custody to the exchange, it doesn’t affect the decentralization of bitcoin, it affects you the user, it is you that will bear the risk of loss and all, that is the same with the utopia network and crypton coin.

Besides, he will need to run the bot on VPS or Dedicated Server either. The remaining thing is the setting which he will find on the Utopia p2p application.

Thank you for this information, it seems like you are a miner, do you by any chance mine crypton, i would like to know what the success rate and profitability is like; i am still doing my research into how i can start mining, but i am yet to begin, i am also looking for people that have already started mining utopia, i want to know what their experience is like.

Is there anything like a community or channel of CRP miners, i noticed that this mining and proof of work section lacks the needed traffic, is there any other way to connect to utopia miners. Cheers!

For a period of time now stablecoin hasn’t had the security level it needs, I have heard of discussions about the possible dangers of even Usdt. I think Utopia’s stablecoin USD has brought in some sense of security.

Stablecoins are not generally meant to be held for the long term, though their security depends on the company that launches them and how ‘real’ their reserve is, USDT is one of the most popular stablecoins launched by Tether company, and so far i don’t think there have been too many complaints about USDT, though i know the company has the rights to freeze your assets. UUSD is also a great anonymous and privacy-oriented stablecoin, that is what makes it unique, and the issuing company utopia cannot freeze your assets like in other forms of stablecoins.

However, since the Qatar World Cup 2023 was the event that inspired the creation of this competition, there shouldn't be much hope for it. Before we see another one, I believe we will have to wait 4 years.

You would be correct if the admin of uTalk wants this contest to be only for world cup tournaments, if that is the case, 2026 it is then, but if they decide to run contests like this when there is a major footballing event, then we might not have to wait until it is 2026 because there are major tournaments before them. They could even extend it to club competitions, where we have the champions league and club world cup tournaments.

#760 Re: General Discussion » Crypton in the next six month » 2023-01-13 18:13:50

Remember that the entire crypto market is still in a bear market, even bitcoin and the other coins you mentioned aren’t doing too great. CRP isn’t doing bad itself, it surely has not reached its full potential, but i guess it will do that when the general crypto market is in a bull run, then we can probably see the price of CRP rise to ~2$.

Guys how secured is email? Before I got into cryptocurrency I always have considered email as a very safe entity but since I joined cryptocurrency a lot has been said about the potential threat email has.

Email is as safe as the user makes it, it is expected that scammers would spam your mail box with malware if they get hold of it, and it is up to you not to click on unsolicited mails and to delete mails that look like scam and blackmail. It is also a great idea to have as many email addresses as possible, and choose the ones you will use on websites or platforms you do not trust. Nothing is safe if the user of the said thing is careless.

#762 Re: Questions and Help » Will it be possible to pass admin rights? » 2023-01-12 20:07:43

Passing over admin rights to someone else is a pretty delicate situation in my opinion, i think so because you have to be very certain that the person is competent to handle the job, i think if you can no longer handle the channel, it is better to close it, but if you feel there is someone competent that you can hand over the admin rights to, then fine.

#763 Re: Questions and Help » Can Crypton be used on NFT » 2023-01-12 19:57:27

I am not so sure of that, the three most popular cryptocurrencies used in the minting and purchase of NFTs are Ethereum, SOL and Matic. So i don’t think you can use CRP to buy NTFs just yet. In OpenSea NFT marketplace Ethereum is the most popular crypto to buy NFT.

Thanks for further clarification, thus if anyone here is planning to add crypton as a payment option in their business, then i think they should look at this thread. I think the number of people accepting CRP in their business has increased over the last year and i expect it to go higher in the next 12 months or so. There could be more demand for privacy coins this year because of regulation and blockchain analysis companies all over the place.

Right now there aren’t many people posting job ads thus there are no job vacancies as for now, as a result of that we cannot know when the next vacancy would be available. There seems to be no traffic in the channel for now, but hopefully when the community grows in size, there would be more job ads and hence more vacancies. For people who have jobs they would like people to do for them, they can post it there for those interested to apply.

Well I think Manchester city are expecting so much from Erling Haaland but he isn’t giving them as much as they want. Although yesterday match had nothing to do with him as he wasn’t even in the team that lost against Southampton yesterday.

Haaland has scored over 25 goals for City this season in all competition and yet people still believe he isn’t giving City exactly what they need from him, he didn’t even start yesterdays game. City were just bad against Southampton as it had absolutely nothing to do with Erling Haaland. If Haaland keeps up with his goalscoring form, he might score over 30 goals this season, or even more.

As you said, storing funds on an exchange wallet longer than is necessary is not ideal and reduces the decentralization effect of the network.

It does not really reduce the decentralization of the network, it just puts the owner of the funds at high risk. Exchanges are meant for trading cryptocurrencies and not storing them there, so when you store your funds there you are at high risk of losing it, take a look at what happened to ftx and Celsius, many peope lost money in these centralized services.

You provide the perfect example. What is worth the best way to be profitable in a cryptocurrency mining setting is to always use the latest mining mechanism or else it will be a waste of power, time, and energy and of course it will be to lead to high bill payments.

Exactly, it is just like a miner trying to mine with electricity that is expensive, there would be no benefit at the end of the day for the said miner, that is why miners always go for the cheapest electricity possible, if you want to mine you have to assess all that is important and choose what will ensure you make profit.

There are pros and cons to both open and closed source networks

I don’t think there is any con to an open source network and project, if the project developers add something malicious to the code you can verify it, if they upgrade the network and there are bugs and vulnerabilities you can see it, it is open for everybody to verify, it makes things somewhat open for all to see. Open source projects and networks are the best. If you know of any con, quote my post and list them.

The next world cup is in 2026 and that is a very long time from now, nobody knows if the owners of the forum would consider holding the contest in the next four years, maybe or maybe not. As for other footballing tournaments, maybe they could consider a contest on them, but without any update from the admin, we can say there is nothing of such forthcoming. For now we can just enjoy discussing on uTalk forum, and if there is any contest, the admin will post about it.

Good for you to add this for people who do not know, i know of a few privacy coin, and crypton coin is one of them, i think people who are looking to carry out transactions privately should really consider crypton. Manipulations are quite common with crypto, so it is a great thing to understand that CRP is manipulation-resistant. Thank you for this knowledge.

The utopia p2p content campaign is great, you can get paid whilst learning about the utopia ecosystem. But there are some airdrop and faucet campaigns that pay worthless coins and some of them are scams, i know people who have engaged in such for a very long time with nothing to show for it. I’d suggest that before people get involved in these sort of tasks to get paid, they should make sure it is first worth it and then try to build the skills necessary.

There was a time it was easy mining bitcoin on your computer, that was when their network was new, but as they got bigger it became almost impossible, doing it is just more like wasting your time. Mining utopia is not relatively difficult and requires just your pc and internet, that is because of the model they use, which is proof of stake and because they are also new. Nonetheless everything is spot on with utopia ecosystem.

Anything is possible with the right dedication and effort, we have already started discussing sports in an unofficial thread in this channels and group section, it would make sense if anyone who wants to discuss sport posts about sports in that thread. But as for a special board, i would suggest we wait for a reply from one of the moderators.
